Farm-based learning rooted in our city
Our educational programs teach youth, educators, and our community where food comes from and why it matters. Whether in the field, cafeteria, or classroom, participants gain hands-on farming, gardening and cooking experiences and learn about sustainable agriculture, seed-saving, and healthy eating.
Visitors discover the farm and the cycles of life through farm tours and activities that also touch on science, nutrition, and justice.
Turn our farm and gardens into your classroom. Farm to School promotes healthy eating and encourages excitement about eating local foods in school meals.
Come be a part of sustainability at its core. Through Seeds of the Food System, teens learn the process of saving seeds. We distribute the locally adapted seeds to non-profits, schools and gardeners.
